What This Service Covers
The dialysis unit runs 24 hours for scheduled maintenance haemodialysis as well as urgent sessions for acute kidney injury and fluid overload, with a nephrologist supervising and trained technicians at the bedside throughout.
Each patient has a fixed slot, single-use dialysers, treated water from a monitored RO plant and reclining beds with continuous monitoring. Separate machines are maintained for hepatitis-positive patients as per infection-control protocol.
Vascular access, AV fistula creation and catheter placement, is done in house, and renal diet counselling is part of the care plan rather than an afterthought.
