Our theatre suite has separate major and minor operation theatres with controlled airflow, anaesthesia workstations, multi-para monitoring, electrosurgical and laparoscopic systems and an adjoining post-anaesthesia recovery area.
A mobile C-arm provides live image guidance for orthopaedic trauma, spine, urology and selected general surgical procedures, which improves implant placement accuracy and shortens operating time.
Every patient has a pre-anaesthetic check-up, a surgical safety checklist before incision and a written post-operative plan covering pain relief, mobilisation and wound care.
