Dedicated Hypertension Clinic (DHC)
Structured blood-pressure evaluation, target-organ screening and long-term control for adults and seniors.
What This Service Covers
The hypertension clinic is a structured programme rather than a one-off consultation. Each patient gets a baseline assessment with verified clinic readings, home BP technique training, and screening for target-organ effects on the heart, kidneys and eyes.
We identify secondary causes where suspected, review interacting medications, and build a plan combining medication, salt and diet correction, weight and activity goals, and stress management. Patients with resistant or fluctuating readings are offered ambulatory monitoring.
Follow-up is scheduled at fixed intervals with a shared record of readings, so treatment is adjusted on evidence rather than on a single high reading.
